WELCOME!

Hello!

This is my first blog post about our family living in New England! We moved from Orem, Utah to Pepperell, MA (30 miles northwest of Boston) in July this year (2014). We have nine children ranging in age from 6-22. However, the oldest three no longer live at home. None of them have seen our new home yet. (But we are getting very excited for them to come visit soon at Thanksgiving time!) That leaves six children at home here with us in Massachusetts. Things are a little different here than in Utah, but WE LOVE IT!!

In coming posts, I will detail some of our adventures and discoveries and reflections up to this point, however, today I simply want to add some photos and let you see where and how we live. I hope you'll "Subscribe" to this blog and leave any questions or comments you may have! Better yet, come and visit us! (Our attic is being finished even as I type this very moment by two excellent New Englanders! They have mah-ve-lous accents. And they are knowledgeable and hard working. People here take their trades very seriously: masons, carpenters, etc. have long standing traditions of solidarity, unity, brotherhood, and exquisite craftsmanship. Pride in their work shows, and has helped me gain a greater appreciation for the artists they are). So, we will have some guest space soon. ALSO, I just spent the day in downtown Boston yesterday mapping out a good site seeing route. What are you waiting for? "Please come to Boston...." (are you singing now?)

Sit back and enjoy some photos from our new life in New England!
Our home in Pepperell, MA. House was built in 1987 for David Proctor, but was modeled after a home he saw in Williamsburg, VA. We went to Willimasburg this summer, but didn't know that at the time! Next time we go, we will hunt for the inspiration house!
